Every idea starts as a spark, not a plan. I let curiosity lead first, following stray thoughts and half-formed images until a story starts to take shape on its own. It’s less about forcing a plot together and more about listening for the moments that feel true, then building around them with care. That balance of instinct and craft is what turns a passing thought into a fully realized children’s fantasy book about courage.
